What began as off-road grit and neighborly rescue grew into a celebration of tradition, craftsmanship, and 100% Blue Weber agave from the Highlands of Jalisco—premium, additive-free tequila made for people who live the sunlit life.
Baja beginnings: a race, a rescue, a recipe
When our driver hit a blind corner and sank wheels-deep, the crew spent hours digging to break free. As dusk hit the horizon, locals rolled in to help. After the truck finally roared back to life, we followed our new friends to their village—where the smoothest tequila flowed and a century-old family recipe was passed down with pride. That moment stitched adventure to heritage and set the course for Billy’s Tequila.
